API for joining a group shake

To go with #95, could there be an API for joining a group shake?
My use case is an external web site that signs you in with your MLKSHK account, adds you to a particular group shake, then lets you post images created with the web site to that shake.
Do group shakes work on an invite/accept model? If so, I suppose the API calls would be:
- authenticate as the new user
- as the shake owner, invite the new user to the group shake
- as the new user, accept the invitation
- as the new user, make a post to the shake (per #95)
