Saving Does Not Preserve (or Quote?) Original Description (Including Source)

What I did: Saved something posted by someone else.
What I expected to happen: The original description for the file, including the plugin-added "Source:" line, would be preserved in addition to the file title. Perhaps "quoted" in some way. Removable if I wanted it to be removed.
What actually happened: Title was preserved but nothing else.
