Zooming in Android browser cuts off right side of images
Reported by knewman | February 4th, 2011 @ 11:38 PM
What I did: pinched or double tapped to zoom in while using the Android browser
What I expected to happen: to zoom in to such a level that the images take up all or most of the screen's width, all the better to see you with. The Android browser is usually pretty good about naturally finding a zoom level that fits the width of whatever you tap, and resizes text columns to fit the screen.
What actually happened: past a certain zoom level, the right side (half?) of the images vanishes, leaving a white background. This is pretty weird, and I don't think I've seen it on another site. Zooming back out makes things normal again.
I've not yet messed around with the hoops you have to jump through to take a screenshot on an Android phone, but I can if that would be helpful.
